• Hi all,

I’m looking for some help finding suitable plugins for a project.

I’ve been asked to put together a website for a charity that sponsors children in Gambia to get an education. They’d like to be able to have a profile page for each child they support that’s only visible to the people who have sponsored that individual child. So I figure I need something that’ll allow the site to accept donations for specific children and then make content available about that specific child to that specific donor.

I’ve thought about using woocommerce and digital downloads and setting up each child as a ‘product’ but didn’t think that would be practical when we’re talking about over 300 kids.

    Any suggestions?

  • Hello Danderton,

I’m not sure of the best way to manage the children, but I have used the “Give” plugin in the past for accepting charitable donations and it works really well.
    Cheers,

    Thanks for your response.

I have seen the give plugin, but it doesn’t look like it’ll allow me to restrict access to certain content based on a donation.
