Help finding the right premium theme / plugins

Hi, I am reasonable experienced with wordpress now, having built several sites on standard & premums themes, have a good knowledge of the plug-ins etc and can tweak in php / html / javascript as required.

Now to my question. This it the most ambitious word press site for me so far, and I am asking is people have any pointers as the best solution(s) that might be out there in the thousands of free & premium templates and the myriad of plug-ins.

Functionally, it would be a ‘user’ contribution site where their own digital creations, which can be downloaded for free or a price (contributors choice) by other members. Other member can also ‘review’ with star rating the products.

This is not dissimilar to some photo-stock sites (but not for photos).

I’m looking for a suitable ‘off the shelf’ theme (or premium theme) and suggestions for what plugins would be best (if not incorporated in the theme) for. 1. the upload & listing of ‘products’ by end users 2. the ‘delivery’ of the digital products, paid or free 3. the star rating of the products.

I think wordpress has all the basic components, and there are plenty of themes / plugins, its just matter of finding the best for this job…
