Help for a noob please

  • I installed w3-total-cache and it was removed by HostGator (my host)
    I now get the following message & my dashboard has stopped functioning properly
    W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /home3/wadgre0ab6tc/public_html/wp-content/db.php.

    W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /home3/wadgre0ab6tc/public_html/wp-content/object-cache.php.

    How do I delete these files.

  • Hello Steve, It is clearly mentioned in those error messages what you need to do.

    Please re-install plugin or remove /home3/wadgre0ab6tc/public_html/wp-content/db.php.

W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /home3/wadgre0ab6tc/public_html/wp-content/object-cache.php.

    Open your FTP and login using your credentials and head over to /public_html/wp-content and delete those two files db.php and object-cache.php

    Make sure you don’t delete anything else ! ?? This folder is very important.
