    hi,
i just tried several times to follow the instructions of
    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/giving_wordpress_its_own_directory
“using a pre-existing subdirectory install” but when i try to edit the index file there’s not the line require(‘./wp-blog-header.php’); so i cannot go ahead.
i’d like to send or post a print of how the ftp program looks like with the positiion of my file to give you a clear vision of what may be my problem or mistake i make….
basically i have on the remote side of the interface:
    ..
    wordpress(folder)
    index.php
    .htaccess

both copied not moved(i downloaded and than again uploaded)

it would be an option to cancel everything and reinstall again?

hope you guys can help me there,
    thanks
