Help! Getting error message installing

I’m a complete novice trying to upload wordpress onto a godaddy domain name. Followed all the instructions and uploaded everything via an FTP client to the root of the domain.

Then tried to log on to the wp-admin/install.php page and I’m getting an 404 error message. Seen previous posts and tried to find a default.html or index.html file to delete. No success.

Godaddy don’t seem to have much clue. So I’ve deleted everything and tried to reload wordpress. Now its saying it can’t load two files… Help!!!
