And what is in your comments.php file? Have you compared it to the comments.php file in the default theme?

The comment form won’t appear unless you’re logged in apparently.

so you are saying that i should log in as someone else, someone not an admin or anything, or anything affiliated with the site login, and see if i can leave a comment then?

ok i dont’ get this…..login as WHO, i mean WHO should login to b e able to comment? in any event shouldn’t there be some kind of message on the comments page saying “if you want to comment please login” or “only those logged in can comment” or something?

heres something new. in my dashboard i changed the “permalinks” structure to “name and date based”. i saved that. went back to the blog and refreshed. clicked on my post “add a comment” and i got the 404 error page. changed permalinks back to default and tried again, and 404 error went away.

wow what is going on with this template??

bumping this….i need detailed help with the code for the comments form on this blog or we cannot launch it. please see above for the issue. i just need to know HOW to fix it. no comments form shows up when you click ‘add comment”
