How can I restore my website to what it was last week?
-
I am looking for help to determine if there is a way to restore my website back to it’s previous state that it was in last week before the site was shutdown for non payment. The previous site manager paid and got it up to date and then yesterday transferred everything to me. After payment was made the site restored itself briefly to what it was before it was shutdown and then out of the blue it appears to have deleted numerous pages including the home page and when I logged into the wp admin there were only 5 pages remaining when there should have been ~16. Is there a way to see what happened in a log somewhere? Is there a way to reverse the changes that were made? I imported a backup that I made earlier in the month so not all is lost but the backup was made right before a significant edit and I would like to avoid having to do all of that work again. Does anyone have any ideas that may help me get what was lost? We are using the Divi Theme in wordpress if that matters.
Moving forward I installed an audit app that tracks changes better and we will make it common practice to save backup before AND after making edits. Any other tips or links to helpful info related to this? The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
