HELP!! .htaccess and main blog url trouble!

guys,
i’ve ruined my beautiful site… any help would be greatly appreciated!
i had permalinks working but the archives weren’t working properly so i changed the main url and blog url addresses in the Main Admin from https://whitewhale.ca/label to https://whitewhale.ca/label/archive which was a non-existent folder… but, now i can’t login to change it back to plain https://whitewhale.ca/label !!!!i’ve tried erasing all info in the .htaccess file in both the main folder for wordpress https://whitewhale.ca/label as well as the root folder with no luck… i’ve also tried just changing the info in the original .htaccess file and changing the rewrite so that it pointed to https://whitewhale.ca/label again rather than https://whitewhale.ca/label/archive/index.php…. to no avail!!!
