HTTP 500 error!

    Hi,
    something strange is happening to my site . I hadn’t edited any files on my site in a while so I went and tried to login to my wp-admin. However it came up with a HTTP 500 error. Luckily, I had a backup of my home directory so I restored it and it did not help. Everything was still bad! It then got worse as my whole site went down! I then realized for some reason my Disk space usage had gone up really high! I don’t know what happened. Please help!

  • Try checking your site’s error logs for a more specific error message. Your hosts should be able to help you in accessing your site’s error logs.

    the error log says the last error was on the 9th of june! It is now the 16th of august though.

    That’s something you need to take up with your hosts. An error 500 is far too generic for us to be able to help. We need a specific error message.
