Help – I can not login and my password has not been reset

  • I am new to WordPress
    I have a new passowrd that was generated from them – I can log into the www.ads-software.com site, but i can not access my hosting site to build my website.
    I need to transfer files from Frontpage to WordPress

    You mean you cannot access your hosting account? Yes? Have you contacted your hosting provider about this?

    Yes – my hosting site – I cannot log into it.
    I have contacted network solutions (my hosting site) and they state that it is a WordPress issue.
    When I click on reset password in wordpress, I put in my username – and it does not email me a reset password.
    Yet when I log into the www.ads-software.com site everything is fine.

    – Also, ask your hosting provider if any of their SMTP filtering rules have changed recently.

    I cannot login to the link from network solutions hosting site which takes me to www.ads-software.com

    If I click on the lost password link and put in my username or email the reply is to “Check your e-mail for the confirmation link” but I do not receive an email with the link.

    I have tried contacting my hosting provider, what do i do next as I am trying to get this accomplished this weekend.

    Alan! I have gone through exactly the same issue today. Very frustrating!
    I now realize that wordpress make different accounts for you, there is one for www.ads-software.com, the forum and their general web site. But it is a different username and password for the admin part of your site. I eventually managed to get back to my web work through my hosting site as I began my wordpress work from there. Still got problems to login directly via wordpress login.

    Forum and wordpress are not the same account!
