HELP… I don't even know how to LOG IN…

    So there are two wordpress sites, www.ads-software.com and wordpress.com.
    I went to www.ads-software.com to get information on using it with my GoDaddy Hosting account…
    Wordpress is now installed and on my website, it has the default WordPress “blog”.

    However, there is no direction on where / how to login and begin editing the content of the blog.

    I tried going back to www.ads-software.com and by a fluke discovered wordpress.COM … where you can register / login.

    I’m easily confused I guess, but when I installed WordPress to my site, I don’t remember it asking for me to create a wordpress username and password. I did make a username and password though, but I don’t remember the username, actually. And I’m not sure how to find it.

    Plus, I’m not even sure if it’s the appropriate handle & pw. I mean, am I supposed to register for a new account or something?

  • When you installed wordpress on your Go Daddy host you were asked enter user name password that is you admin user name and password so that you login in your admin panel

    your url to log in should be

    https://yourdomain name.com/wp-admin if instlled in root
    or
    https://yourdomain name.com/foldername/wp-admin if installed in folder

    I don’t know where to find out what the user name was, but I’ll try…
    Was the user name that GoDaddy asked supposed to be a new one that I create specifically for WordPress…?
    Or was it the username/password for my GoDaddy hosting account…?
    This is so confusing.

    The Go Daddy name for WP.

      Wow, I got it!
      (The Username and Password info were under My Applications in GoDaddy.com – My Applications can be found under the Applications tab which is under the Support & Community tab)
