Please help. I tried adjusting a plugin I downloaded, and I really don’t know very much, so I screwed it up. I just copied a part I wanted two of, and pasted. But when I hit update, I got the following message:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Share_Facebook in /home/content/32/6989232/html/wp-content/plugins/sharedaddy/sharing-sources.php on line 768

Now I can’t get into my site at all. How can I get in to deactivate the plugin? I tried going in through some other back pages I remembered the names of, but I get that message no matter what page. I have the plugin appear on the sidebar of all pages. How can I fix this?

    Thank you!

    Try deactivating sharedaddy plugin.

If you don’t have access to your admin area, try deactivating them manually via FTP or phpMyAdmin.

Thank you! After having a mild panic attack (first one ever, lol), while racing here for an answer, I realized I may be able to erase the file from my hosts website. I found it stored in my file folder there and, hoping, praying, fingers crossed, I fixed it by erasing it there.

Thank you for the advice. That link will surely come in handy in the future! ??

Always keep a current backup of your site (including DB).
