Help installing wp on cpanel

  • Hello everyone
    I bought a vps hosting from hosthatch , and a domain from godaddy and i have been trying to setup wordpress on it for two days straight , I use cPanel and i did everything as i read it on the installation guide ,i created a sQL database, added a user , downloaded wordpress and changed the wp-config php , did literally everything and even saw a couple guides on youtube still when im on the last step which is wordpress install i always get this error , “The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.”. I have tried everything , i have rebooted the server two times , i have deleted the whole folder of wp from the server and copied back again two times , i have deleted the sql database and created a new one two times and still no progress . if someone can help me i would be grateful

    When I check https://fluffydoggies.com, it lands me on the parked page. Could you confirm you’ve pointed domain’s nameservers (under GoDaddy) to hosting (hosthatch VPS) where you’ve setup WordPress?

    I suggest..
    (1) Ask hosthatch about getting your VPS’s nameservers for domain fluffydoggies.com. I am sure they will assist you with this.
    (2) Once you get those nameservers, ask GoDaddy how to point your domain fluffydoggies.com to those nameservers (provided by hosthatch).

    Thank you so much for your reply it means a lot to me , indeed i have just read about that solution literally 10 minutes ago and i was going to change my nameservers in the godaddy domain manager to ns1.ag1.fluffydoggies.com and ns2.ag1.fluffydoggies.com
    The problem is godaddy doesnt accept those two and i get the error “The data provided cannot be used, please correct it and resubmit your request.”
    Hosthatch is unmanaged so their support said they could not help me whatsoever so im really upset and i have no idea what to do , I’ll contact godaddy support to know why i cant change the nameservers and hopefully it fixes it .

    You can definitely change the nameservers to whatever you want at GoDaddy. There are many video tutorials in-case it helps.

    I am sure GoDaddy Support will definitely help you setting your domain nameservers.

    Im still getting the error The data provided cannot be used, please correct it and resubmit your request. whenever i try to change the default servernames on godaddy domain manager , i don’t know why i get this , i dont even know if the wordpress installation will launch after i change the servernames ..

    You may need to register nameservers with your VPS IP (under GoDaddy) before you can use them.

    The best bet you contact GoDaddy Support for further.

    Have you consider to set up everything on godady? Maybe it will be a short workaround while you test your domains in the VPS IP? I always do testing on domains before upload a WordPress site! even more because godaddy might be tricky sometimes. if you dont have a strong reason to keep working hosthatch I would suggest to try other hosting suppliers as well.
