Help! Locked Out!

  • I installed and configured WP Google Authenticator this morning. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to work and I’m locked out of the admin account. I have two admin logins, and neither work with Google Authenticator. I tried the recovery code but that didn’t work either.

    I have FTP access but can’t get in via the admin panel. What can I do?

    I am having the same issue! Keeps telling me the authentication code has expired!?

    Hi, if you have this kind of issue maybe you need rename the folder of wp-google-authenticator in the WordPress plug in folder – this will deactivate the plug in and you should be able to log in.

    After log in you can rename again to original name the folder of wp-google-authenticator

    Now in wp-google-authenticator settings you can set Authorized Clock Desynchronization Must be in min (±). Avoid invalid one-time passwords issues. Please read the contextual help for more info.

    You can try to put a value like 3 (3 minutes) and check if now login works
