Help me find the right gallery plugin!!

  • I’m pulling my hair out trying to find a gallery plugin that I can theme easily, using CSS, to have this layout:

    Basically, main image on left, thumbnails and caption on right. I don’t need any jQuery nonsense, special effects, lightbox, etc. I just need a simple gallery plugin that’ll change the main image and title/caption when one clicks a thumbnail. That’s all!

    Everything I’ve been seeing is far too bloated for this project (NextGen), doesn’t actually work with WordPress 3, or has some complex web 2.0 type css to make it run that I am thoroughly intimidated by.

    If you know of anything that can help me, please let me know… otherwise, I give up, I’ll just code my own. *le sigh*
