It worked, but It just added the comment form there but not displaying comments.

It looks like you’re using Jetpack’s Comments module. Does it work with that turned off?

The plugin assumes that comments are being listed by comments_template() which is normally how themes are written. The code expects your theme to have a comments.php which looks like one found in a WordPress core theme, for example Twenty Twenty: https://github.com/WordPress/wordpress-develop/blob/master/src/wp-content/themes/twentytwenty/comments.php

I turned off my jetpack comments. still it’s not working..

I’m not sure. I’d suggest comparing your theme’s comments.php with the comments.php in core. Make sure the comments are actually being listed inside of that template part, and not in some other template.
