HELP ME … I'm totally lost…

  • Would anyone have any idea how to reset my php functions page?
    I tried putting in a shortcode and my site will not some up anymore, I’m just getting a blank page.
    Any ideas, thoughts or suggestions would be so helpful, thanks.

    Also I can no longer login to wordpress either as I just get a blank page as well.

  • Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    Okay, so I just tried this.

    went to my ftp server wp-content/themes/awake I added “-old” to the end of it so it looks like this. wp-content/themes/awake-old
    still not working.
    should I add it to the themes folder so it would look like wp-content/themes-old

    My theme is called awake by the way. Am I still missing something?

    Re-upload a fresh, unpacked, copy of the Twenty Eleven folder to wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    I’ve found that always having a backup of functions.php that I can ftp back in is the best method. I’ve done the same thing and without ftp access, my site would have been screwed.
