• Hello I installed your plugin to my www.ads-software.com website michaelluck.org now whenever I try to share any of my posts on Facebook my links show up with images of ‘Google Ping’ with the caption of ‘Seo.uk.net – An official Seo company in London,UK’, and other images with different captions. Why is this? I am quite frustrated with this considering I have tried playing around with the plugin options and have even uninstalled it completely to no avail.

We have already fixed this bug, please update to our latest version to get the fix.

@michael, I tried republishing the pages days ago before, then ended up deleting the entire site and starting from scratch, this didn’t fix the issue as my url is still being redirected.. sorry Sybre I was not directing the comment to you.

Not a problem sinewaves1, no harm done ^^ I was just confused ??

Could anyone link me to the latest release of SEO Wizard as I’m having trouble finding it.
I will take a look to see if I can make a cleanup plugin to prevent people from starting over. I’m overwhelmed with projects next week, but better late than never ??

Well it seems the plugin was pulled. I can no longer find it either.

I’m seeing Seo UK Team is cleaning up and harnessing the plugin themselves ??
Great work! Keep it up ??

ok thanks Sybre. I’m working with digital ocean development team to find the root of the issue as well. At this point i have killed the domain name, DNS settings, name server ips everything, gonna wait 48 hours for the domain to propagate then i will post my findings. thanks for all your help..

So digital ocean said that Seo UK Team is storing customers urls in a data base and then backlinking them, I am so effing pissed off !!! Remove https://www.gooeypixel.com from your data base now!!!!!! I’m going to file a complaint with FBI internet crime division..

That’s right sinewaves, but isn’t Google doing that as well?

The difference is, Google does it with your consent, and SEO UK didn’t.
I don’t see a reason for a complaint, especially since the code is open source, although against the plugin guidelines.

Besides, AFAIK, this was on the calendar plugin, not SEO Wizard ??
My advice: Don’t worry about it too much ^^

How do I effectively remove this from my client’s website without having to rebuild it? I have uninstalled the plugin and deleted the files but it is still creating a problem.

    Any updates with this?

Pretty much screwed until they pull my email from the data base, I happen to catch on to what they were doing when because I deleted the wordpress site i had used the seo wizard plugin with, killed the domain name, set up the name servers back to namecheap default, waited 48 hours built a brand new site using NGINX servers that don’t use a htaccess file and my url is still high jacked.. best food for thought really check into authors and plugins before using anything.. I shut down the high jacked url I’m going to have to purchase a new domain.. I will keep you posted as I get the info from google developers im working with..

@vmoore99 rebuilding the site will do you no good if your url is high jacked your on a waiting until this company deletes the urls from their data base.

@vmoore99 I do have a fix for this if your still having issues. Your going to have to go into the host file on your server and delete the current host that were set up, restart you apache2 or NGINX server, then add back in your hosts to your host file add back the hosts, restart apache2 or NGNIX done. Delete your browser history, mainly the cache.. [moderated]
