Help me reduce space on the sides of my content!

    Issue:

    The main content area of my site (where the ‘Welcome to the home…’ text is) has too much space to the left & right of the text. I’d like the space along the sides of the text to be the same as the space from the top.

    I’ve tried changing the padding in every spot I could think of in the style.css, but nothing seems to do the trick!

    I am new to these forums (and WordPress), so I apologize if I left out any important details. Hope you can help! Thanks
