HELP! My Admin pages are all showing up BLANK!!!

  • My problem:

    My dashboard comes up as a blank screen.
    My posting page comes up as a blank screen.
    My options page comes up as a blank screen.
    EVERYTHING in my admin area is coming up as a blank screen… even the login.php.

    I have no idea what has malfunctioned here.

    My site (https://www.bourland.com) shows up fine and I can maneuver around it just fine. But once I try to administer or upload a new post (for example), I can’t do a thing.

    Anybody got any idea as to what I can do?

    Upgrade ?
    Plugin ?
    It can’t have “just happened” – and if you genuinely believe it did because you did nothing, then your host did it. Which is a possibility.

    Try deleting all the files in /wp-admin and /wp-includes
    Then re-upload
    You MUST delete the files in those directories before uploading new ones. Do not overwrite.

    I didn’t do anything.

    I literally went there yesterday and all my admin pages were showing up blank. In order to resolve the situation, I upgraded from 1.5 to 2.0 (which went smoothly) but the admin pages still show up blank.

    I’ve thoroghly backed up all the files, so will try the remedy you suggest.

    Actually, now that I come to do it (delete and replace the WP-Admin and WP-Include files) I realize that I did that already as part of the upgrade to 2.0.1. My backed up files are from 1.5, and I’m not so sure it would be a good ideas to mix the two.

    The only thing I can think of is that I was using WP-admin-tiger plugin, which makes for a cleaner admin interface than what 1.5 provides. I couldn’t deactivate it because I couldn’t access any of the admin pages, so I deleted it off the server. That’s the only thing I’ve done outside of the upgrade.
