I have editor problem

  • I am trying to create a new post on website using the Gutenberg editor… however the WordPress system is not letting me use it and it goes back to something like Classic mode with WPBakery or Visual composer option..

    I tried to deactivate Visual composer and WPBakery, and that would let me use Gutenberg, BUT it messed up my existing pages with things not showing and pretty much everything out of place… needless to say I can’t deactivate any of those page builders or my website would be a mess..

    But how do I get the ability to use Gutenberg?? WordPress shouldn’t allow 3rd party app destroy the ability to use WordPress features…

    If you have a problem related to a paid plugin then contact that vendor for support.

    For pro or commercial product support please contact the developer directly on their site. This includes any pre-sales topics as well.

    As the developer is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.

    @tu586 Unfortunately there is no easy way out from here. If you want to switch, you will have to recreate those pages again. You can use two page builders but not on same page/post. I would recommend sticking with whatever you are using or recreate some pages/posts on Gutenberg and keep the rest.
