Not sure what I did, all I did was make a post entry and somehow after that my sidebar ended up at the bottom of the page. Its the same style entry i’ve made hundreds of times. How can I fix this, it only affects the home page.

  • The easiest solution is to upload your index page again. In other words use your original index file – overwrite the ‘corrupt’ one ??

After I posted the above I went to your site. Seems fine my side. Maybe you are having a browser error on your side ! Dump your chache and try again.

dynamit had it. it is most often just a browser issue, if you clear the cache it should work.

if not, make sure you are not uploading a picture or some other object that is too wide. Maybe your CSS is not setup to control the post and sidebar width so it stretched with the latest post pushing the sidebar at the bottom. Good luck.

It was actually a compounded code error. Drove me nuts to figure out but I just learned something new. I recommend the easy fix being to first deactivate all plugins especially anything that is exchanging information with external servers, twitter, facebook etc and then go to your most recent entries..copy them into a text file of sorts and delete them. Try reposting one by one and you’ll find the culprit, somehow the code repatches itself. Return to plugins and activate them.
