    Use FTP to restore the backup you took of functions.php before editing it.

    If you didn’t take a backup, you now know why you should! In that case, edit the functions.php using a text editor via ftp & take out whatever you just added – that should get your site back. Then try to put the custom function back in, but check the syntax carefully before hitting the save button.

    It may be problem with your functions.php file. If you have the backup of that file, you can restore it using ftp as mentioned above.

    Else

    You can remove the code which you were adding before the incident. You can edit the file either from Cpanel, or you can use FTP (like Cute FTP, Smart FTP).
