    Hi

My shop page is 3 column and normally show products per page

Today, I tried create a elementor shop template for testing, after I created, I published and preview, I haven’t apply or change anything.

Then, I found my original shop page layout has been changed to 2 products per-page.

I deleted all new created elementor templates, but my shop page cannot recover to normal

    1. How I can restore my shop page to normal ?

    2. How to prevent such incidents not happen again ?

    Thank you very much

    Hi there @dicklim39 ??

I’m sorry to hear the shop page layout was messed up after adding Elementor to the site!

    1. How I can restore my shop page to normal ?

First, can you please try deactivating the Elementor plugin temporarily to see if that helps? Second, can you please check how many columns are set up for the shop page in the WooCommerce Customizer?

    2. How to prevent such incidents not happen again ?

What we recommend is to perform any tests on a staging site before making the same changes on the live site. You can create a staging site using a tool provided by your host (please reach out to them to find out what staging tools they offer) or the free WP Staging plugin that’s available here on www.ads-software.com.

This process will create an exact copy of your live site that can be used for testing purposes (please make a backup of your site before running it). That will let you perform any changes, such as testing Elementor templates out, without affecting the live site that customers see.

If you’d still like to use Elementor, I recommend creating a new topic on its forum here:

    Thank you!

    Hi there @dicklim39,

Hope Elementor is now working on the site now! We haven’t heard back from you for a while, so I’m going to mark this post as resolved.

If you need any further help here, please let us know. Or, if you need additional help with the Storefront theme, please start a new thread and we’ll be able to help you out there.

    Thank you!
