    Hi, I have a new website purchase from wordpress and it’s still blank. I would like to change the whole name as I’m trying to use weebly instead and want to retain my website name.
    For example : https://abcdef.com to https://xyz.com, and want to use back https://abcdef.com in weebly. As for the wordpress account, I can give it to my friend…

    I’m sorry but WordPress does not sell anything. Are you perhaps referring to a wordpress.com site that was used with a custom domain name? If so, you are in the wrong place. These forums are for self-hosted WordPress sites only. Please try asking your question on https://en.forums.wordpress.com/

    Sorry, forget about the purchase.

    Anyway getting back to my question, how do I change my web address.
    I tried at the Setting-General- WordPress Address & Site Address, it didn’t work.

    All I need is to change my web address from wordpress, and register it back to weebly.

    WordPress has no control over your dns. This is something you’d have to take up with wherever your domain records are hosted.
