help needed

  • Hi all
    Now that I have got the website just the way I want it, sometimes it loads up like lightning, sometimes it takes for ever to load up and sometimes it just refuses to load up, i did think it might be the weight of the site as it is a photo gallery but when it starts playing up then the back end plays up too, once you log in it wont go any further than the main dashboard page.
    any ideas?

  • Nah, it will be your server host, if its hosting where they is loads of other websites, it will be slow.

    Thanks, I did think so, but one thing, I am having a lot more visitors than i ever dreamed of, 555 so far today for example, I dont quite know where they are coming from, could that have something to do with it?

    555 isnt a lot of visitors for 1 server.

    i host a website for a client which gets over 4000 hits a day, with a bandwith use of 1.5gig, And my server still has no problems coping ??
