Help! New subscriptions blocked by Mailpoet!

    Today, I set up a Mailpoet registration form to subscribe to a mailing list. About 4-5 people could have subscribed in the first 2 hours and then, all of a sudden, the form would not allow new registrations. For over 30 minutes it spits out the following error message:

    You need to wait 1 hours 4 minutes before subscribing again.

    This is terrible, I just sent out hundreds of emails with the request to subscribe via form and now people are not able to do that. What can I do to get rid of that error message?

  • Hi there @vtro,

    This normally only happens when subscribing via the same IP address, it’s a form of rate limiting to prevent spam attacks.

    Can you please post a link to your page so we can check it?
