Help! Newbie trying to insert HTML code

  • Hey everyone,

    I’m relatively new to coding. I can usually figure it out, but not always.

    I’m trying to insert a “buy now” button into one of my pages but it’s not working at all. However I’ve seen other websites that have a paypal button.

    What do I need to do in order to insert an html script?

  • Where do you want to add it? What have you tried so far?

    If you for example want to add HTML stuff to the sidebar, simply go to the presentation->theme editor part of the wp-admin and edit the sidebar template ??

    I’m trying to put on a page, not on the sidebar. Any ideas?

    have you received the code from paypal to get the link?
    sometimes you have to tweak that code, but the only real way to add the button is to first get the base code from paypal itself…

    then you edit the page you want to use it on, but make sure you post the code here first so we can tweak it for you.
