Help! No one can leave comments on my post!

Go to dashboard, all posts, and quick edit this one. You can turn comments on in that screen.

Unfortunately, they are already turned on.

And a few people say they can post, but others are saying they can’t.

It seems to be working again for now… but I have had this problem in the past, and so if anyone knows why it might be happening, I’d love to learn!

Something tells me it might have something to do with my WP Total Cache… that thing causes a lot of trouble for me!

Also you should upgrade to Thesis_185. You can also contact their support – they are very quick to respond.

WP Total Cache – Yes, I sometimes forget to clear all caches and that will make things weird.

I’m afraid to update Thesis… I’ve heard that if you don’t change some things around (i.e. if you just hit “update thesis”) things could get completely messed up. Unfortunately, I don’t know enough about the technical side of running a blog to trust that I could fix it.

Right now, I can leave a comment on IE. If I try to leave one on Safari nothing happens. And if I try to leave one with firefox, the comment background is blue but shows up.

Does anyone know why the comment background would be blue? I’ve tried googling this and nothing comes up. Here’s what it looks like:

It is blue because that is a comment “by author”.

If I try to leave one on Safari nothing happens.

I just posted with Safari. The only thing wrong was the time. Safari 4:10 pm, me 9:10 am

I leave comments on my blog all the time that aren’t blue, so I’m confused as to why it only sometimes (very rarely) shows up blue.

I can actually leave a comment now on my blog. It seems to ONLY be a problem for the first hour after I publish any post… :-/

I try to leave a comment on my most recent post and it won’t let me. But I can leave a comment on any other post. (And yes, the comments are turned on.)
