Help! Parse error! Accidentally deleted code…site down!

I can’t access the site at all. Is there some way I can get back to the code editor? Anytime I try to access any part of my site, I just see the parse error.

Have you access to the directory files of your website?

Re-upload a fresh, unpacked, copy of the Twenty Eleven folder to wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

I am in my directory files through cpanel and I have my functions.pho open. Should I just copy and paste the fresh, new file in its place?

If you have made changes to the default WordPress theme, you need to re-upload a complete fresh copy. Then, if you want to customise the theme, use a child theme. Having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues.

One more question: is there any way to delete the “posted on” (date) at the top of the page and then the “posted in” (category) scripts on the blog page?
