I have simple products in group products-

They have all disappeared – they are not showing anymore. I have created them correctly and they have worked fine how i had it for a year. Now all the sudden they are gone.

    Any ideas?

Did you run the data update in admin yet? Without doing this, the relationship will be lost.

    https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/blob/master/includes/wc-update-functions.php#L1011

There is a data update banner in admin after upgrading the plugin.

Did you just update to 3.0? And, if so, have you run the data update? There should be a notice at the top of the admin screen if you haven’t.

My products page is a complete mess now.. the simple products are showing on the products page with the group products – it looks like the site has combusted.

Simple products have always still shown regardless of being part of a group.

I don’t think your updater has ran correctly. Did the notice state it was complete?

    Link to site?

    – yes – i used to have the simple products “hidden” and it would then show still in the group products when clicked on – now they will only show if they are listed as “visible” – problem being with “visible” is they show the grouped products and simple products in the shop page – I just want one set… It had worked perfectly before.

Both the hidden status and grouping was part of the update script. Definitely sounds like it has not ran.

Hypothetically, if the updater did not run correctly, is there a way to re-run it?

Not from admin, but you could call those update functions in code pretty easily so they run again.

Is it safe to run them more than once? Can we have some help in doing so?

it said that it updated completely though?

HOw would i be able to run it again

sergc I don’t think it’s related to your issue.

virtualsrg before doing that, make a new grouped product and ensure it works when you group things. Just to ensure it’s not a visual issue rather than a data issue. Who knows, your theme could be rendering those things in a non 3.0 compatible way but the data is fine.

Similar thing is happening to me after update. Some products have disappeared, and so has text that is still showing on the backend.

    it is just visual

    – if i do a new grouped product it will show the group but it just wont show the simple products unless i mark it “visible” but like i said – once i do that – it shows both the simple product and grouped product in the shop section.

Everything else works fine on the woocommerce portion of the site – except this.

This is a complete mess and its causing a lot of chaos over here… I’ve never had a problem with woo commerce until right now.

    It is destroying our site.
