Help restoring wordpress website

  • Hi there

    My website database was accidentally deleted and cannot be restored.

    I have a back up of the WordPress folder with all .php files.

    Can I restore these to a new database and get my website up and running?

    If so – how?

    no, unfortunately not the database is entirely separate from the php files. Have you asked your hosting company whether they have a usable backup which can be restored?

    No unfortunately my web host provider doesn’t keep backups more than a couple of weeks.

    So be clear, I cannot restore the structure of my website without the database?
