Running update seems to have taken my site down

  • Using your FTP, rename the folder of the theme that you’re currently using. This should restore your site and wp-admin, but will revert your site to one of the other themes. If this works as expected, you’ll need to either update your theme or find a new one.

    I’m not sure how to do this. I use Standard theme. Where is the folder located and how do I rename it?

    It will be inside wp-content/themes and you will need to use FTP or whatever file management application your host provides to rename the theme’s folder.
