• Guys, please I really need some help here!
I’ve been trying to figure out how to up load pictures to my blog…I don’t want anything fancy at the mo like wrap around text etc – I just want to get an image up there. I’ve tried uploading an image in the post section and I must be doing something wrong but I don’t know what it is…
I can browse the image down off my computer and can get it to show in the image box on the post section. I can also “see” it as i would like it to look if I preview the image in the image box of the post section – but the second i go to post the actual post (hopefully with the image up there too!) it just doesn’t show the image – only the text that I have added in the post section…
where am i going wrong please as I really don’t know – any help would be greatly appreciated as I don’t want to ruin my stilettos by smashing them through the computer screen – but I’m getting close to doing this!! ??
    cheers
    FDB
Please can i ask you – can you give any instruction in an “idiots guide” format please as I am sooo not techie minded?!! thanks, appreciate it.

  • I had a sim. prob. You have to up load picture ,choose thumbnail,
    Full size
    Title
    Link to: File
    Page
    None

Click on the page where you want your picture to appear.
    Click send to editor
Click save and continue editing or Save
    Make sure you have selected a category you want it in ;
Make sure you selected Publish, not save as draft,
    I hope this helps

As littledynamite8 has said, you need to upload your image to your server. You should see your image when you type the address pointing to the image like so: https://your_server/image.jpg

Once you make sure that your browser shows the image from your server, make a reference to it in the blog, by clicking on the green thingie in the editor which will open up a dialogue box – Insert /Edit image.

Enter the URL of the image here. Add a description about the image and you can set the alignment here. Once you are done adding this, click “Insert” and you are done.
