Help setting up PayPal standard

    Hi I’m a little overwhelmed with setting up PayPal Standard in WC.

    I’m using the built-in feature in WC, and the setup seemed to be working fine with the Sandbox keys. I requested live credentials and put them in and now PayPal is throwing an error. WC shows it on the front end, but once clicked on proceed to PayPal I get this message:

    Things don’t appear to be working at the moment. Please try again later.

    I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Any advice would be helpful.

    Hi there,

    To troubleshoot this further, please do the following:

    • Share a copy of your status report as found under **WooCommerce > Status**
    • Share a copy of the fatal error log found under **WooCommerce > System Status > Logs** (if available)
    • Share a copy of the PayPal debug log found under **WooCommerce > System Status > Logs** (Select the log from the top right-hand corner, provided debug logging is enabled from the payment gateway settings)

    I didn’t see any fatal error logs, nor anything logged under PayPal.

    Hi @parms. Sorry that we missed your last response. Are you still facing this issue?

    Usually when we encounter this issue, it’s due to the keys needing updating. Can you try deleting the current API keys and regenerating them by following this guide?

    Hi @drwpcom,

    I have tried regenerating the keys and adding in the IPN url, I’m still getting this message from PayPal:

    Things don’t appear to be working at the moment. Please try again later.

    I’d also like to follow up and say that I’ve tried to enable Apple Pay and Google Pay with Stripe on Woocommerce and that doesn’t show up in the checkout either.
