• Please help. I’m not sure what has happened to my installation (maybe I got hacked while I’ve been away for a few days) but when I tried to post to myv.1.0.1 RC1 installation, I got the following error:
    SQL/DB Error:
    [Got error 28 from table handler]
    SELECT DISTINCT * FROM wp_posts WHERE 1=1 AND post_date <= '2004-06-02 12:07:17' AND (post_status = "publish") GROUP BY wp_posts.ID ORDER BY post_date DESC LIMIT 12

    My site was showing all of my posts just fine a few minutes ago and now since I tried to post, this is what it looks like:

    Please help!

  • This is a MySQL error and has nothing to do with WordPress directly. You should probably contact your host about it. Some users have reported that running a a€?repair tablea€? command in phpMyAdmin fixed the problem

    podz is right. I’d suggest running the repair table command if you have access to something like phpmyadmin, otherwise and if it doesn’t work (which I doubt from my experience), then contact your host.

    Thank you! That did the trick!

    Hi, I just got the same error just now, and I know zero about php. How do I go about running a repair table whatcha-ma-call-it in my phpmyadmin?

    Thanks for that, I’ll remember that if it happens again. ‘Cuz somehow, I don’t know how, it repaired it’s self. After about 20 minutes or so, while I was waiting for help, when I refreshed the page, the errors were gone. I have no idea how that happened. And I don’t even know why the errors started in the first place. I thought maybe it was due to me posting one post right after another one. I think my mySQL is haunted or something.
