HELP! SSL certificate code ruined my website

Hi I just purchased an SSL for my website and was installing the code for my SSL certificate seal. It said to install the code in the footer. However, I do not have a footer, so I installed the code at the bottom of the main page. Once I published it, most of my graphics disappeared. I can’t click on my pages, they just say 404 not found. My top logo shows an error. The odd thing is on my editor, it shows that everything is there, even after trying to re update or re add, it all stays the same. I also removed the SSL security seal code and nothing has changed. Can anyone help me with this?
