@cecofuli You’re seeing PHP notices, which are not the same as errors, because you’ve turned on debugging.

You turned OFF debugging with that code, which is good. You should never have debugging on for your production site.

Now. Should you be worried about the notices? Yes. If you wrote the code yourself, it has a bug. Google “WooCommerce Order properties should not be accessed directly” to learn more about that.

If you DID NOT write the code, start by disabling plugins and switching your theme to try and find out what did cause it. Then you report the problem to them ??

I’m very newbie about website and I’m not able to write any line of code ehehe ^__^ . I’m a “simple” 3D graphic.

So, what should I do if I want to create the debug.log file in my wp-content/ folder, but I don’t want to show to my client the warning/error message in the front-end (website or, in this situation inside the email generate by WooCommerce)? Do I need to change:

in

define( ‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, true);

Anyway, after two days of debugging (yes, I’m slow and not very smart with WP) install, uninstall, disable plug-in etc… I have discovered that the problem was a stupid, 7 months old plug-in for Italian payment: PostItaliane plug-in for Woocommerce.
without it, no problems at all inside my COMPLETED emails. =)
I’m more relaxed now…

Usually, this is the way that I recommend users enable the WP Debug:

1. Login to your site through FTP
2. Make a backup copy of wp-config.php
3. Open this file and look for this line of code define('WP_DEBUG', false);
4. Replace that line of code with the following snippet:

// Enable WP_DEBUG mode
define('WP_DEBUG', true);

// Enable Debug logging to the /wp-content/debug.log file
define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);

// Disable display of errors and warnings
define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false);
@ini_set('display_errors',0);

Finally, save and re-upload this file.

This will ensure that all errors are saved to a debug.log file inside the /wp-content/ directory, without displaying them to visitors of your website.
