help! Tabs with filters !

Hi there,
I’ve tried searching for plugin, using tabs and filters.
I need to filter tab contents under dropdown menu; such under years and months. Is it possible to do that with restricted content type?
i found some plugins using filters and some using tabs but i need both in one plugin if i missed it !
Is this possible?
