help to finalise my site please

  • Please help- there apears to be something wrong with my header & I when I first log on there is some html text indicating a problem at the top of my pare- plus I am having trouble opening the website itseld- all feels a be ‘minor’ but significant problem

  • Looks like the problem is in the plugin wp-super cache, though I will leave it to the experts to answer it.

    Better put the problem in the Trouble shooting forum rather than here

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.
