Help! Unable to update Downloadable Files

Hello,

I need to update the downloadable files for a few of my product variants. When I go into edit the product variant, I see the current downloadable product file. When I select upload a new file I select the file from my computer (it shows C:\fakepath\file-name.zip – which seems odd to me). Then I click publish. But I get redirected to our backend Posts page (which has no posts created) and when I go back and look at the product variant I was trying to edit, the file I tried to upload is not there. I have also tried deleting the existing file and then uploading and no luck. I also tried deleting the existing file and uploading my new file with the exact same file name and no luck.

I’m stumped. I have a feeling it may be something with the file path but I don’t know how to change that.
