Help understanding “Apply icon color to fill”

  • Heya

    We’re having trouble understanding the “Apply icon color to fill” option. We’ve tried it with a variety of icons (both provided and custom), and it seems like turning it off is equivalent to just NOT having an icon color in the first place.

    Does it only work with a specific type of SVG icon, perhaps? ??

    Many custom icons apply color using the fill attribute, but not all. Some apply it using stroke or some other method. One good example is the Heroicons library. If you try one of those icons, you’ll see that the icon does not display correctly when “Apply icon color to fill” is set. Disabling this setting gets things working again.
