    Help, Urgent!

I just updated my social warfare plugin and now my site is broken. I’m receiving the error –

I can not even get to my plugin wordpress page as an admin to unactivate the plugin. Please help asap!!

    Hi Susan,

Sorry you’re having trouble! Without being able to load the site, it will be hard to determine what’s happening, but it sounds like you may be using a CDN or a caching system such as Cloudflare. You will need to purge those caches to get things working properly.

Since your dashboard is inaccessible, you’ll need to log into your Dreamhost panel and access via either the file manager or FTP to remove the plugin manually. Their support team can also help with this. Social Warfare does require PHP 5.4 or newer, so I would be sure to ask Dreamhost what version of PHP is installed on your server.

    Hi Andrea,

Thanks for your quick response! I contacted Dreamhost and they manually de-activated the plugin.

    Thanks for your help,
    Susan
