Help…updating plugin seems to have crashed my blog…

  • How can I fix my wordpress blog? I was updating the plug-ins in my blog and this happened:

    Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /home/content/26/12246026/html/wp-content/plugins/social-media-feather/synved-connect/synved-connect-support.php on line 11

  • Try disabling the plugin “social-media-feather” using FTP and run the site.

    I can’t even get back to my dashboard. Any ideas on how to do it? I don’t know how to use FTP. Thanks!

    Yes, you won’t be able to login from the WordPress Dashboard due to this error.
    If you’re on a shared/private server with CPanel, better you login through there, else you can use an an FTP client like FileZilla. It will let you access the backend to resolve the problem.
