Help – Want Links at top of page to content on same page.

I want to put a bunch of links at the top of one of my pages and have it linked to content on that same page….

For example:
I want to put descriptions of a cast and crew on a page…. I want all of their names at the top of the page, with descriptions of each person further down the page. When you click on a persons name, it bring you down the page and stops at their name. How do you set these marks on the page…?

I know i have seen it done with a number (#) symbol in the link, but I do not know how to do it.
