• Hi all,

I am really looking for help in creating a new project I have been given with work. I am trying to create a portal that is logged in to that displays Time Lapse Images taken at remote sites.

The IP Cameras we use upload an image every 10 minutes to FTP. I want to build a website that does the following.

When logged in, redirects to a specific page only for that user.

    1) Shows the latest 4 images in the FTP folder in a slider
    2) Click on a link to show thumbnails for the last 24 hours images.
    3) Click on another link to show a list of links to all the images in the folder
    4) Have a date and time picker that you can choose the date and the hour and it will show all images from that hour.

All the images are uploaded to FTP with a date and time stamp in the file name (e.g. 201812081904)

I use Elementor usually so I am not a coder but I am very eager to learn if needs be. I have worked out how to set the page structure up so that with a frontend login it will redirect to the first page and all pages for that camera are only accessible under a single username and password.

Please can someone help, I know it is possible as a company that we used has something similar done in WordPress.

    Thanks,

    Danny

  • Hi @waringd,

Sounds like a big project in front of you. If the support community at Elementor is not able to offer you some direction, you should consider hiring someone so that you can give them direct access to the site for a far more efficient fix than we can provide here. The volunteers here are not able to offer site development guidance at this level.

First check the plugin’s support community at https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/elementor to see if that may be able to offer related help on this.

    all the best,
    Matt
