how do I save the file on my desktop.
All you have to do is copy the files with .css extension and paste it into desktop.

    What folder in my cpanel
Go to you file manager. You should see following files such as – > index.php, header.php, footer.php.

Yes, I’m lost. You are being really helpful thank you. So do I put it all of them? Surely if my site is broken then this will reflect in the code.

Do you know how I can solve the problem of updating my them because that would probably solve it. When I finally got to the bottom of the file it said ‘There is 1 error which must be fixed before you can update this file.’ Would be helpful if it pointed it out.

Can you please try some temporary troubleshooting steps?

    • Switch to the Twenty Seventeen theme
    • Deactivate all the plugins, no exceptions
    • Clear your browser’s cache and cookies

And re-visit your site. Does the problem still exist when you do that?

I suspect that it’s your theme and this will confirm that or not.
