Help with colorization please?

While the blog post background color and Single post background color do appear to work – but subject to my remarks below – I don’t see a color setting anywhere in the customization options for pages as distinct from posts. Is there such a setting or are there plans for one?

For a typical effect on pages, select “Services” page from the menu. The content stays in a white box surrounded by background and widgets which do respect the other various settings.

Also – as an aside on the matter of pages, am I right in thinking that where the page is occupied by a plugin such as a gallery or an event calendar the coloration is a matter for plugin authors?

Regarding blog entries, though …

Homepage when set to display latest posts displays white separators between them – is this in any way configurable either in terms of height or color, or even absence?

When you click thru to a single post that looks just fine, although it is interesting to note that on “Hello World” the comment box is not colored. Nor are there coloring options. That may not be an issue for this site, however, as hitherto we have not allowed comments anyway.

However where a page is dedicated to a blog category (Select “News” from menu in this example) there remains white framing of individual posts as per regular pages. Which I’ll confess I personally quite like but that doesn’t mean it’s right! Seriously my concern is the effect it might have on clients who are visually impaired and who may also have dementia symptoms.
