Help with comment pages

Hi all. I’m a newbie using WordPress and I’m having a problem with my comments pages. My blog is at https://kimberlypoole.us/blog. With the help of this site I’ve been able to make some changes to the Default theme to mimic my website.

But, if you click on the “no comments” under a post, when the new page refreshes, I’ve lost the white area behind the images. Also, I’ve lost my comment fields under the page “Image Info”.

I know someone will tell me to upgrade to 2.5, which I plan on trying again, but my last attempt failed miserably. I’ll have to work on this when I have a weekend to devote solely to WordPress.
