• Hi there,

I am trying to get my blog https://www.wealthontap.com/blog to appear the same as my home page https://www.wealthontap.com

I am using Scott’s sandbox theme and I have almost got it right. If anyone could help with any of the following issues it would be much appreciated.

    1. Header not quite the same for some reason even though using the same css styles.
    2. Can’t get columns to line up correctly
    3. How do I get the side bar to automatically expand to the footer rather than to where it’s content ends?

    Thanks,
    Mike.

Still making progress however it looks totally different in IE than it does with FireFox

Your wrapper is 922px in width, but your header is 900px in width. Changing it to 922px will fix that.
As for the columns, try an internet search for ‘faux columns’.
Also, try not to worry too much about IE till you get it right in Firefox and Opera. Solve IE-bugs after that by using conditional comments.

“Your wrapper is 922px in width, but your header is 900px in width. Changing it to 922px will fix that.”

Actually I would go the other way and make 900 the width for everything.

Well I have managed to fix the column issue by using a java script rather then the faux columns method. I also changed the width of my header and footer. It’s strange that on my home page it is set to 900 and aligns perfectly but in my blog it aligns at 922?

Anyway I would like to make the height of my header smaller but can’t seem to figure that out and my footer doesn’t align nicely like it does on my home page.

Apart from that everything is looking pretty good in FireFox.

    Thanks for all your help.

hmmmm trying to get my right column to align to the right in IE. Aligns fine in FireFox. Any ideas?

    Thanks again.
